Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer—Epic Interfaces to lead and support enterprise integration solutions between Epic EMR systems and third-party applications. The role emphasizes HL7 interfaces, testing, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL, OO development, ETL skills, and Epic Bridges Certification, with experience guiding complex projects and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems required.
• Five or more years of experience in relational databases and programming languages.
• Knowledge of HL7 programming or other custom interface development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, testing, documentation and support of enterprise-wide integration processes.
• Develop, test and implement Epic/Bridges interface solutions.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior team members.
• Coordinate work assignments to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge bases for interfaces and processes.
