Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. in King of Prussia, PA, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer – Epic Interfaces to lead integration projects between EMRs and third‑party systems using Intersystems Iris for Health. You will design, implement, test and support HL7 interfaces while collaborating with Epic, clinical and financial teams.

The role requires Epic Bridges certification, strong SQL/database skills, and the ability to mentor staff and manage delivery against PM standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Five or more years of experience in relational databases, programming languages, SDLC, source control, and project management.
• Knowledge of HL7 programming or custom interface development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and testing of enterprise-wide integration processes.
• Design, develop, test, and support Epic/Bridges interface solutions between EMRs and third‑party systems.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and coordination to ensure on‑time delivery and issue resolution.
