Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Epic Data and Value-Based Care Analytics Analyst in the United States. The role leads interpretation, modeling, validation, and governance of Epic data for an external value-based care analytics platform and serves as the bridge between Epic environments, claims data, analytics platforms, and the Azure-based VBC solution.

The ideal candidate has deep Epic Clarity and Cogito experience, Caboodle knowledge, advanced SQL skills, and experience with large healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, healthcare administration, analytics, engineering, or related field.
• 5 years' experience with Epic Clarity and the Epic Cogito reporting ecosystem.
• Advanced SQL development and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience identifying and using complex Epic tables, joins, identifiers, date fields, and status logic.
• Experience data lineage, source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, and record-level validation.
• Experience interpreting client-specific Epic configuration and workflows.
• Experience working with large healthcare data sets in a relational database environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, business stakeholders, and clinical SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Lead interpretation, extraction, modeling, validation, and governance of Epic data used in the external analytics platform.
• Bridge Epic reporting environments, claims data, analytics platforms, and the Azure-based VBC solution.
• Work across the full platform lifecycle from data discovery to production support.
• Translate Epic data structures into reliable, traceable data products for client use.
