Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, BCS, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in systems analysis and design.
• Experience managing projects – 250+ hours.
• Healthcare environment experience.
• EPIC Ambulatory Certification required.
• EPIC Cadence Certification / Prelude.
• Certificates in other Epic Outpatient Modules a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and solve problems.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and vendors.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Cadence Epic Application knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide secondary support contact for Cadence and Prelude.
• Participate in all phases of the system development life cycle including use cases and software evaluation.
• Coordinate analysis, technical design, and issue triage to implement and support the assigned application.
• Work closely with the interface project manager, application teams, and technical teams.
• Coordinate activities involving multiple players (vendors, SMEs, interface developers, end users) to design, configure, and test interfaces.
• Independently research and resolve complex issues.

Job description

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, or other related fields.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in systems analysis and design.
• Management of projects – two hundred fifty plus (250+) hours.
• Experience working in a Healthcare environment
• EPIC Ambulatory Certification (Required)
• EPIC Cadence Certification / Prelude
• Certificates in other Epic Outpatient Modules a plus
• Strong knowledge of the client areas function and systems, technology alternatives, and ability to work effectively with client and Information Technology management and staff
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, technical, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to analyze data, problem ‑ solve, and clearly communicate solutions
• Ability to understand customer requirements and their impact on the technical aspects of a solution
• Ability to work in a complex multi ‑ communication ‑ channel environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams
• Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards
• Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues
