Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a skilled Interface Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of EMR interfaces (Epic/Oracle Health). You will drive changes, mentor teammates, and ensure robust interface performance across production environments.

The role requires deep experience with Corepoint, Epic Bridges certification, and strong leadership abilities to guide integration initiatives within healthcare workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of interface engineering/development experience.
• 5+ years' experience with Corepoint Interface Engine.
• 3+ years integration experience with an EMR (Epic or Oracle Health).
• Experience in a people leadership or mentorship role.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional specs and manage changes.
• Prioritize, coordinate, and implement updates; review and test releases; troubleshoot end-user questions.
• Design and develop interfaces in Epic and/or Oracle Health EMRs per scope/workflow.
• Mentor team members in integration and conversion best practices.
• Provide technical guidance on small to medium efforts within the scope.
• Develop, support, and maintain all required system design and build documents.
• Create detailed testing scripts for testing lifecycle phases.
• Perform daily monitoring of interfaces in production.
• Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues and escalate complex problems.
