Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an IT Development Senior Manager to lead Epic-related application development projects and guide teams through discovery, design, and implementation. The role requires coordinating with providers, managers, and vendor staff to ensure quality, scope, and timelines are met.

The successful candidate will manage complex Epic configurations, drive documentation, and ensure future state workflows align with clinical and business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong experience configuring, designing, and supporting an Epic solution.
• Prior application configuration experience.
• Knowledge of Ambulatory workflows.
• Experience in test planning & execution, test case development, and meeting project quality requirements.
• Experience working on large projects with clinical applications and healthcare IT industry understanding.
• Ability to bridge communication among technical and nontechnical project staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Create and fulfill EHR use cases, identify business and functional requirements and translate into technical specifications.
• Lead documentation efforts for discovery and implementation.
• Ensure requirements and future state workflows are clearly defined.
• Work with Project Managers to identify tasks and estimates.
• Support execution of vendor upgrades, system changes and environment maintenance procedures.
• Participate in analysis of current state processes and collaborate with clinical business and reporting users to create future state processes.
