Job summary

Northwell Health in Melville, NY seeks a senior Epic EHR analyst to lead analysis, configuration, implementation and optimization of complex Epic applications. You will independently resolve advanced cross-functional issues and mentor junior team members.

Collaborate with stakeholders to design efficient Epic designs, align with business objectives, and drive strategic enhancements across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
• Epic certification, required.

• Leads the comprehensive analysis of current state workflows, system functionality, and data; designing, building and optimizing highly complex Epic IT solutions with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
• Independently evaluates and resolves highly complex, cross-functional application-related problems and technical issues, acting as a primary technical resource and subject matter expert for assigned Epic modules.
• Collaborates extensively with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into effective Epic system designs, developing internal procedures and best practices to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Mentors and provides technical guidance to junior analysts, fostering their development and ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Analyzes new Epic functionality and identifies opportunities for strategic enhancements, process improvements, and system optimizations that impact multiple projects and functions, providing expert insights for strategic planning discussions.
