Job summary

Air Liquide is hiring a Project Manager in Houston, TX for EPC activities within Engineering & Construction. You will lead a multinational project team, oversee capital investments up to $200 million, and coordinate with global sites and partners to ensure execution aligns with contract, budget, and schedule.

The role requires 15 years in engineering/project management within EPC, strong communication, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university required.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Minimum 15 years of work experience in an engineering discipline, project engineering within an EPC organization, project management, construction, or equivalent, with exposure to business development, procurement and operations.
• Project manager will be competent in conflict resolution and crisis management; military experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization in writing and verbally.
• Willingness to share technical knowledge and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Represent the business unit interests in development and execution of capital investments up to $200 million.
• Assist project and business development teams to identify, budget, and plan project solutions to enhance competitiveness.
• Plan project execution per PMI practices and Air Liquide procedures.
• Lead a multi-national project execution team with representatives from multiple entities.
• Participate in engineering review meetings at foreign locations.
