Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking a Contracts Manager to shape contract strategy for utility‑scale renewable projects across development, construction, commissioning, and turnover to operations. You will draft and negotiate EPC documents, manage disputes, and coordinate with legal and project teams to secure successful outcomes. This role reports to the Sr.

Dir. of Execution Strategy and requires travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, PM, construction or legal field.
• 5+ years in construction project or contract/claims management.
• Experience with utility-scale solar, storage and wind projects.
• Strong negotiation and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support contract documents for EPC contractor RFP processes.
• Lead contract negotiations and term prioritization with project teams.
• Manage contractual claims and dispute prevention strategies.
• Coordinate with legal and other departments for approvals.
• Provide post‑contract training to project teams.
