Job summary

Lexicon is seeking a Construction Planner to lead the development and execution planning of EPC project scopes during pre-construction and early execution phases. You will work with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, and Construction Management to create complete, executable work packages that enable safe, on-time, and on-budget project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial construction, EPC project execution, construction management, project engineering, field engineering, work packaging, or construction planning within relevant sectors.
• Strong understanding of engineering deliverables, procurement processes, subcontracting strategies, construction means and methods, work packaging, constructability reviews, and field execution requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication; proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and construction management software; experience developing scopes of work, bid packages, and execution plans.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety by integrating constructability and safe work packaging into planning.
• Develop construction execution plans and work package strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Lead the creation of detailed work packages with defined scope, interfaces, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop scopes of work for subcontracted activities, equipment installation, and temporary facilities.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure design supports procurement and execution needs.
• Lead constructability reviews to improve safety, productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
• Develop sequencing strategies, installation methodologies, crane plans, logistics, and site readiness.
• Support bid package development, contractor prequalification, evaluations, and subcontract awards.
• Ensure packages contain complete engineering data, material, labor, equipment, and execution approaches before release.
