Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist Systems Engineer in Mason, OH on site. You will lead systems engineering for EO/IR sensor systems, guide planning, integration, validation and verification, and mentor teammates while engaging with customers and suppliers.

A DoD clearance eligibility is required for consideration. As a technical lead on multiple programs, you will address development activities, perform analyses across the lifecycle, and ensure performance and compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Physics, or related Engineering discipline with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Systems engineering for EO/IR sensor systems.
• Lead or support technical planning, system integration, validation and verification activities.
• Coach / mentor others on the team.
• Make judgments considering costs and benefits of potential actions.
• Determine how a system should work and how conditions affect outcomes.
• Identify measures of system performance and actions to improve performance.
• Lead or support across the system development lifecycle.
• Serve as Technical Point of Contact to customers and suppliers.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
