Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking a Test Engineer to perform, document, and oversee environmental and electrical tests in a fast-paced laboratory setting. You will develop test plans, analyze data, and prepare engineering reports while working with customers, technicians, and cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10+ years in environmental testing, with hands-on experience using LabVIEW, MATLAB, Minitab, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental testing, sustaining engineering, or reliability engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with climatic, mechanical, and corrosion test equipment.
• Knowledge of data acquisition, test automation, and analysis tools (e.g., LabVIEW, MATLAB, Minitab, Python).
• Familiarity with failure analysis, predictive maintenance, and statistical process control (SPC).

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and oversee environmental and electrical tests.
• Document test results and prepare engineering reports.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and calibration issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure ISO 17025, ASTM, MIL-STD-810, IEC 60068, ISTA compliance.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to optimize test procedures.
