Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking a Test Engineer to perform, document, and oversee product testing in accordance with national and international standards. This role is responsible for developing test plans, executing environmental and electrical tests, analyzing data, and preparing engineering reports.

The Test Engineer works directly with customers, technicians, and internal teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely test execution in a fast‑paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field or related discipline.
• 10+ years in environmental testing, sustaining or reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with climatic, mechanical, and corrosion test equipment.
• Knowledge of data acquisition, test automation, and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for environmental and electrical tests.
• Document results, analyze data, and prepare engineering reports.
• Maintain testing equipment and troubleshoot failures to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, ASTM, MIL-STD-810 and other standards.
• Support audits, RCCA, FMEA and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers and teams to review test plans and solutions.
