Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a qualified aerospace test engineer to join the Lunar Core Components Test Team. You will plan, execute, and document environmental qualification tests for avionics and RF hardware used in lunar vehicle programs.

The role requires hands-on testing, fixture coordination, data acquisition, and collaboration with design and quality teams to resolve anomalies and deliver hardware on schedule. Prior EMI/EMC and cleanroom handling experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in STEM technology or 10+ years aerospace test experience.
• 5+ years of experience performing environmental testing (TVAC, vibration, shock, or EMI/EMC) on aerospace/defense electronic hardware.
• Familiarity with SMC‑S‑016 or equivalent environmental test standards.
• Proficiency with data acquisition systems and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute environmental test procedures for avionics and RF assemblies.
• Configure and operate data acquisition systems, environmental test chambers, and instrumentation.
• Analyze test data, generate test reports, and disposition anomalies with design, test and quality engineering.
• Design and procure test fixtures, adapters, and cabling harnesses; coordinate with machine shops and vendors.
• Maintain test equipment calibration, facility readiness, and compliance with AS9100 and internal quality systems.
