Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a test engineer for avionics and RF communication hardware within the Lunar Permanence team. You will develop test plans, support design engineers, and lead test execution to ensure safety and reliability of flight hardware.

You will work with multi‑functional teams across mechanical, systems, and operations, mentoring Test Specialists and contributing to process improvements in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years aerospace test experience developing plans and procedures.
• Hardware test experience at avionics/RF level (LRU or system level).
• Safety‑critical or aerospace environment familiarity is a plus.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to work hands‑on with multi‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and approve avionics test plans and procedures.
• Support design engineers in verification plan development.
• Design, build, and verify custom Automated Test Equipment.
• Lead test readiness, run test procedures, and manage non‑conformances.
• Analyze and archive test data, generate verification artifacts.
