Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Senior Environmental Technician to assist with sample collection and environmental tests. The candidate will document field-related activities and support project managers in compliance with environmental regulations.

This role requires fieldwork, possibly involving overnight shifts. A high school diploma with relevant experience, or a degree in a related field is necessary. Strong knowledge of QA plans and environmental sampling is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of applicable experience or a related bachelor's degree in geology, engineering, environmental science.
• Strong knowledge of QA plans and ability to monitor activities simultaneously.
• Ability to perform basic calculations in science and engineering applications.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples and perform field tests on water, soil, and air.
• Prepare field reports and communicate data with clients.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents and health and safety policies.
