Job summary

BKV Corporation seeks a Senior Environmental Specialist to lead complex environmental programs across midstream and gas processing assets in the Fort Worth area. This role is an individual contributor with potential limited delegation, providing expert guidance to Operations and leadership.

The position requires extensive air quality and regulatory knowledge, strong project management, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Texas RRC/TCEQ and federal environmental programs required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for environmental compliance programs and support objectives.
• Develop and enhance environmental programs, procedures, and risk management strategies.
• Lead environmental permitting, inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Analyze environmental data to balance regulatory compliance with operational efficiency and risk.
• Oversee air quality compliance activities including emissions reporting requirements.
• Coordinate environmental due diligence for acquisitions and entity risk evaluations.
• Interface with regulators during inspections and inquiries and provide guidance to Operations.
