Job summary

BKV is seeking a Midstream Gas Plant Manager to lead safe, reliable gas processing facilities and drive special midstream projects in the Fort Worth Basin. This role reports to the Midstream leader and demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent collaboration across engineering, maintenance, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of natural gas processing and midstream operations.
• Experience leading midstream construction, infrastructure, or capital projects.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and process drawings.
• Experience with operating budgets and capital planning.
• Demonstrated leadership and people development.
• Flexibility to work holidays and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable, and efficient gas plant operations with clear safety and performance expectations.
• Develop and coach plant operations staff through training and performance management.
• Monitor plant performance, throughputs, quality, reliability, efficiency, and costs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Measurement, Commercial, and other stakeholders to optimize facility performance.
• Provide leadership during equipment failures, upsets, shutdowns, startups, and emergencies.
• Lead Midstream Special Projects across pipelines, gathering systems, and infrastructure.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, resources, and execution plans with stakeholders.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Operations, Construction, Maintenance, EHS, and vendors.
• Oversee field execution, permitting, procurement, commissioning, and handoff as needed.
• Monitor cost, schedule, risk, and quality; communicate status and resolve issues.
