Summary

We have an exciting opportunity in our Country Operations group for a Senior Environmental Specialist. This role can be remote or hybrid. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

1. Review, prepare, and provide compliance guidance for water quality, risk management programs, and location-specific EHS materials.
2. Prepare environmental compliance records such as SARA Title III - Tier II reports, air emissions reports, and bulk pesticide state forms.
3. Assist with community outreach, EHS engagement, and other special projects.
4. Support junior team members.
5. Coordinate with local, state, federal, and tribal officials regarding EHS activities.
6. Assist with EHS due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
7. Create environmental programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and implement best practices.
8. Manage various systems and databases.
9. Prepare documentation for environmental permit applications.
10. Generate reports on project status, activities, and compliance.
11. Verify regulatory compliance and develop compliance strategies.
12. Promote a strong safety culture by following policies and identifying hazards.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 4 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety

• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Organizational and prioritization skills
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field preferred
