AdventHealth in Mansfield, Texas is looking for a Cleaning Technician for the night/weekend shift. In this role, you will perform cleaning and sanitization duties for patient rooms, public areas, and offices, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all. You'll document your work, maintain cleaning equipment, and may supervise staff. The position offers a full-time schedule with a pay range of $16.00 to $25.60 per hour.

Qualifications

Job Description

Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices, and ancillary rooms. Collect and dispose of trash, clean linens, sweep, mop, dust, perform high dusting, wash walls, scrub, make beds, vacuum, and properly dispose of normal and biohazardous waste. Maintain cleaning equipment, stock supplies, document work performed, and train and supervise staff as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Knowledge of infection control, isolation procedures, and cleaning equipment operation.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Effective communication in English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• One year of technical experience (preferred).

Education

• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).

Work Experience

• One year of technical experience (required).
• Two or more years of technical experience (preferred).
