The role requires coordinating with clients and government agencies, managing budgets, and driving profitable outcomes. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Environmental Science with six years of progressive experience; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's in Environmental Science; Master's preferred.
• Six years of relevant, progressive experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures
• Plan, coordinate and direct larger and/or more complex projects
• Lead and direct projects with overall responsibility for technical accuracy and appropriateness
• Manage/solve technically complex problems, at times using advanced techniques and practices
• Proposal preparation and direct follow through
• Responsible for scheduling, productivity and budget of projects
• Ensure consistent, professional written and verbal communication with clients and project team members
• Arrange and direct project and program related meetings with clients and/or government agencies
• Develop staff and project scientists
• Review work performed by staff and project scientists, communicating information and discussing interpretations with clients and government agencies
• May perform asbestos inspections and collecting of asbestos samples
• May perform air monitoring
• Recognize, initiate and advance business development opportunities
• Prospect, develop and maintain client relationships
• Strive to make each project profitable
