RESPEC, including its Enviromin division, seeks a Senior Scientist/Engineer in Bozeman, MT, for full-time environmental projects. You will lead project work in mining geochemistry/hydrogeology, oversee client deliverables, build client relationships, and mentor staff across multiple projects with emphasis on sustainable mine water treatment approaches.

The ideal candidate holds an MS or PhD and 10+ years in consulting, with strong communication skills and professional licensing credentials.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in mining geochemistry, hydrogeology, or chemical/environmental engineering.
• 10+ years of consulting experience in project management, leadership, and business development in mine water services.
• Interest in sustainable mine waste management and water treatment methods.
• Technical excellence and strong written/verbal communication.
• Professional licensing credentials and mentoring capacity.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationships.
