This role serves as a senior technical resource for our environmental planning and science team in Pennsylvania. The individual will collaborate proactively with clients such as Amtrak, SEPTA, PA Turnpike, and PennDOT, working to develop and adapt strategies within the complex environmental regulatory environment.

This position can be located in our King of Prussia or Philadelphia offices.

  2. Determine or develop methodologies and approaches for field analysis; set up test equipment as needed.
  3. Evaluate environmental effects related to planning, design, and construction projects.
  4. Lead or author reports on environmental science effects.
  5. Provide technical support on environmental issues during project planning, design, and construction.
  6. Review work for compliance with design and scientific standards, and identify additional investigations if needed.
  7. Participate in marketing and proposal development for potential projects.
  8. Lead preparation of applications and documents for environmental permits and regulatory compliance.
  9. Organize and participate in public meetings and client discussions on environmental issues.
  10. Mentor junior staff, contribute to recruiting, and provide performance feedback.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Archeology, Anthropology, or related field with 8 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree in the same fields with 7 years of relevant experience.
What You'll Bring:
  • Technical oversight in developing new ideas, data, and methodologies.
  • Development of team standards and presentation of new methods.
  • Leadership in marketing and proposal efforts.
  • Review of monitoring protocols for compliance.
  • Expertise in analytical methods and guidance to less experienced staff.
