Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Reporting QC Specialist III to accurately calculate and validate stack testing results using spreadsheets and handwritten field records. You will own the calculations from start to finish, ensuring data quality and compliance with established standards.

The role requires independent work, 3+ years of technical writing, and familiarity with air test methods and regulatory requirements. A hybrid environment with collaboration and mentorship is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or related field preferred.
• High School diploma is acceptable where writing/math/other skills can be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Writing and assembling documents such as test protocols or test reports using templates, following style guides and SOPs.
• Citing tolerances for these, e.g. 3A, 7E, 10, RA% using reference methods and applicable standards.
• Understanding roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and third-party accreditation standards
• Perform technical editorial review of draft and final documents for details, grammar, spelling, calculations, results, and conclusions
• Reporting QC Specialists III are successful at "from scratch reporting" of stack testing programs, and they are knowledgeable about regional tests and regulations
• Can independently resolve most anomalies and when encountering new tests, methods, etc. can extrapolate based on previous similar experience
• Preparing ERT without an ERT test plan or reference document
• Calculating test results using spreadsheets and handwritten forms
• Review work of and mentor junior staff
• Performing various clerical work where needed
• Contribute ideas to the reporting group (RMS/PIP) and support work groups that develop content, standard procedures, and other improvement measures
