Job summary

Onterris in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Reporting QC Specialist to accurately calculate and validate stack testing results using spreadsheets and handwritten field records. You will work with Project Managers, Field Technicians and other reporting staff to ensure data quality, timely delivery of test reports, and adherence to SOPs.

Required: science/engineering degree or related field, technical writing ability, Excel/Word proficiency, and familiarity with EPA test methods and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in science/engineering or related field.
• Technical writing experience beneficial.
• Familiarity with EPA test methods and regulatory requirements.
• Field testing experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Compiles, analyzes, and reports field data collected from test projects under the supervision of Reporting QC Specialists and Managers
• This position works with Project Managers, Field Technicians and other reporting staff to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of test reports and other documents
• Write and assemble documents such as test protocols or test reports using templates, following style guides and SOPs
• Perform review of draft documents for details like grammar and spelling
• Communicate regularly with field and reporting staff to ensure test reports are completed in a timely manner
• Understand roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and third-party accreditation standards
• Performing various clerical work where needed
