Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead mid-size to large engineering projects in California. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage scope, budgets and schedules, and ensure safety standards are met while delivering high-quality client solutions.

Responsibilities include risk and change management, contract oversight, and collaboration with clients and vendors. The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and business development within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, business administration or equivalent relevant experience.
• Project management certification or ability to achieve in 6 months.
• 10+ years of experience managing mid-size to large projects with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver scope, schedule and budget within quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed scopes of work and project budgets.
• Collaborate on schedules and resource planning to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage risk, change, and contract issues across projects.
• Ensure health & safety adherence and external vendor coordination.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide client service and engagement support.
• Coach and develop team members, promoting growth and accountability.
