Job summary

Burns & McDonnell’s Midwest region seeks a senior-level environmental remediation Project Manager to grow our Ohio practice. You will blend project management, technical leadership, and business development, partnering with leadership to drive growth and manage complex projects.

The role requires diverse remediation background, regulatory knowledge (RCRA/CERCLA), leading design and field activities, and travel. PE/PG/OH CP preferred; strong client relationships valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 7 years of related professional experience investigating and remediating environmental sites (10 years preferred).
• Project management experience required.
• Strong understanding of remediation technologies and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the strategic business plan to develop and expand the firm’s remediation practice within the Midwest region.
• Identify and support recruitment of key individuals to grow the practice area.
• Lead marketing and business development activities, including meetings with clients and agencies.
• Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals for investigation/remediation projects.
• Provide leadership and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage project implementation, QA/QC, scheduling, and budgets.
• Lead preparation of work plans, reports, feasibility studies, and remedial design.
