Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Environmental Remediation Project Manager in the Virginia Beach area (with possible locations in Richmond, VA, Washington, DC, and Reston, VA) to deliver environmental investigation and remediation design projects for the Navy and Marine Corps under the Navy CLEAN program.

You will plan, staff, schedule, and budget projects, coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams, and use your technical skills to design and implement remediation systems for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology, or other closely related technical degree.
• Environmental project experience, including environmental sampling and subcontractor oversight.
• Experience conducting remedial investigations, feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, remedial designs/actions, and/or installing and optimizing remediation systems.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Plan, staff, schedule and budget projects while ensuring quality of work products.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, internal support staff and subject matter experts.
• Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and design/remediate sites with contaminants.
