Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Remediation Project Manager to lead investigations and remediation design for Navy CLEAN projects in the Virginia region. You will manage budgets, schedules, and staff while coordinating with subcontractors and regulators; surface technical reports and pilot-system designs for VOCs, PFAS, and other contaminants.

The role supports a hybrid work policy with locations in Virginia Beach, Richmond, DC, Reston, and Hampton Roads, and requires U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology, or similar.
• Environmental project experience, including sampling and subcontractor oversight.
• Experience with remedial investigations, feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, and remediation systems.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain and maintain.
• Ability to plan and oversee field work.
• Local or willing to relocate to Hampton Roads/Norfolk-Virginia Beach area.
• US citizenship.

Responsabilités

• Plan, staff, schedule, and budget environmental projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, internal support staff, and SMEs.
• Analyze data, prepare technical reports, design pilot studies and remedial systems.
• Interact with clients and regulators; present site characterization and management strategies.
• Provide motivation and direction to project teams; mentor colleagues.
