Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Senior Reliability Test Engineer – Environmental Simulation Lab to lead environmental and electrical testing in a fast-paced lab. The role focuses on developing test plans, executing tests to ISO 17025 standards, analyzing data, and delivering engineering reports while collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely results.

You will train staff, maintain equipment, implement process improvements, and support audits and accreditation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental testing, sustaining engineering, or reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with climatic, mechanical, and corrosion test equipment.
• Knowledge of data acquisition, test automation, and analysis tools (LabVIEW, MATLAB, Minitab, Python).
• Familiarity with failure analysis, predictive maintenance, and SPC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot environmental testing equipment (thermal chambers, vibration tables, humidity control).
• Develop and execute test plans for environmental simulations and electrical tests.
• Analyze data and prepare engineering reports for customers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, ASTM, MIL-STD-810, IEC 60068, ISTA, and related standards.
• Collaborate with test engineers, technicians, and customers to optimize procedures.
• Develop SOPs for equipment maintenance and test execution.
• Support regulatory audits and accreditation processes.
