Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Regulatory Compliance Professional to join our Sustainable Operations team in Indianapolis, IN. This role splits time 50/50 between field work and office work, focusing on solid/hazardous waste, TSCA, and RCRA regulations, with potential soil/water sampling.

The candidate will survey facilities, prepare reports, and mentor staff, traveling as needed. Minimum 5 years of related experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or environmental regulatory discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or professional services/consulting.
• Knowledge of federal/state solid waste, hazardous waste, storm water, industrial water, and permits.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental compliance assessments in manufacturing facilities.
• Prepare environmental compliance reports per federal/state regulations.
• Develop and implement waste management plans and sampling plans.
• Support and lead environmental regulatory aspects of plant initiatives.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
