Job summary

Arcadis in Novi, MI is seeking an Environmental Regulatory Compliance Professional to join the Sustainable Operations team. The role involves 50% field work and 50% office work, with potential 100% field periods, conducting compliance assessments in manufacturing facilities under TSCA, RCRA, and state regulations.

With a minimum of 5 years of experience, you will perform surveys, prepare reports, develop waste management and sampling plans, and mentor junior staff while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering/science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or consulting.
• Knowledge of federal/state solid/hazardous waste regs.
• Experience with permits and environmental reporting.

Responsibilities

• Complete plant surveys and bulk sampling.
• Assess conditions related to heavy manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare environmental compliance reports.
• Develop and implement waste management plans.
• Support environmental sampling and lab analysis.
• Lead regulatory aspects of plant initiatives.
• Prepare project plans and permit applications.
• Travel as needed.
