Job summary

EnSafe in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Environmental Project/Client Manager to lead complex environmental and geologic projects for diverse clients, while fostering collaboration and growth across teams.

You will oversee field activities, manage budgets and schedules, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior staff. Strong writing and client communication skills are essential, with readiness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional environmental consulting experience with regulatory knowledge.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (current).
• Strong technical writing skills and experience producing reports and submittals.
• Experience managing projects with budgets and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple environmental and geologic projects with scope, schedule, and budget
• Oversee field activities, documentation, subcontractor coordination, and safety
• Plan and coordinate site assessments, subsurface investigations, and remediation
• Provide senior review of data interpretation and conclusions
• Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory submittals
• Apply regulatory knowledge to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff and stakeholders
• Mentor junior staff and support project team development
• Lead business development through client engagement and proposals
