Job summary

Terracon in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced environmental professional to lead and deliver Phase I and Phase II ESAs, site investigations, and remediation support across Indiana and the Midwest.

You will manage projects for commercial, industrial, transportation, and real estate clients, analyze environmental data, and prepare technical reports and proposals while growing a thriving environmental practice within a 100% employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related experience (or 11+ years without a degree).
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
• Experience conducting and reviewing Phase I and Phase II ESAs.
• Working knowledge of ASTM E1527, CERCLA, RCRA, and state regulations.
• Strong technical writing and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• EP qualification under ASTM standards.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead ASTM Phase I ESAs and Phase II ESAs.
• Oversee soil, groundwater, vapor intrusion data collection and interpretation.
• Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, cost estimates, and other deliverables.
• Manage project resources, scope, schedules, budgets, quality and profitability.
• Build client relationships and support business development through proposals and presentations.
• Mentor staff toward EP certification.
