Job summary

Engineering Wireless Services is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental compliance across telecommunications projects. You will guide environmental assessments, advise executive leadership, and mentor teams within the Regulatory Team to implement best practices and ensure project success.

The role requires coordinating with clients, regulators, and field staff, while maintaining safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in environmental consulting, project management, or regulatory compliance in wireless telecom or new construction.
• Knowledge of FCC environmental regulations, NEPA, NHPA (Section 106), ESA, and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental management initiatives across projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Monitor evolving environmental regulations and advise on compliance strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, and vendors to complete required environmental services.
• Develop reports and technical studies in line with regulations including NEPA/ASTM.
• Oversee field investigations, site assessments, and QA/QC of deliverables.
• Travel periodically for site work and regulatory meetings.
