Job summary

Merjent, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its expanding Power Sector team in the United States.

You will lead permitting for wind, solar, and battery storage projects across the Upper Midwest, coordinating teams and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires a strong background in federal, state, and local permitting, and a proactive PM approach to budgets, schedules, and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with permitting processes (USACE, USFWS, SHPO, agencies).
• Experience obtaining permits and managing projects.
• 3+ years PM/deputy PM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager/Deputy PM for power sector projects (solar, wind, battery storage).
• Build and manage project teams for permitting, surveys, outreach.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and risk via PM processes.
• Maintain strong client relationships and lead proposal efforts.
