Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our team in New Orleans, LA. This role focuses on identifying and managing environmental and engineering projects, conducting research and analyses, and supervising field investigations and lab work.

You will lead diverse projects, solve complex problems, and guide teams to restore environments and revitalize blighted properties. The position emphasizes client development, regulatory compliance (EPA/CERCLA/RCRA), and delivering

Qualifications

• 10+ years of practical experience with environmental investigations and remediation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of EPA, CERCLA, and RCRA regulations.
• Experience in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
• PG or PE certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses for portions of environmental projects and investigations.
• Identify and pursue new clients, develop work within projects, and attend business development meetings.
• Supervise junior staff, coach and mentor, and assist in hiring.
• Oversee field activities, ensure proper data collection and lab analyses, within budget and schedule.
• Manage multiple projects, prepare reports, change orders, invoices, and assist in collections.
• Prepare reports and draft proposals, and coordinate cross office teams as needed.
• Interface professionally with clients, contractors, and project personnel.
