Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Thousand Oaks, CA office. You will lead and manage complex environmental investigations, remediation, and regulatory compliance projects across multiple media, with strong technical leadership and client management.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, or related field.
• 12+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• 7+ years managing complex environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Demonstrated success managing projects exceeding $500K to $5M+ annually.
• Significant experience with contaminated soil, groundwater, and other media.
• Certifications such as PE, PG, CHG, PMP, REM, or CHMM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance projects from proposal through closure.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, work plans, and health and safety plans.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of geologists, engineers, hydrogeologists, risk assessors, and environmental scientists.
• Monitor project financial performance including revenue, profitability, utilization, and forecasting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, laboratories, drilling contractors, and remediation vendors.
