Job summary

NTM Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental projects from proposal through delivery. The role emphasizes scope, schedule, budget, and quality, with mentorship of staff and client relationship management.

Based in PA with options for Dillsburg or Wayne offices, the position requires 14+ years of experience, strong leadership, and a track record of successful complex projects in water resources and environmental services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, anthropology, history, planning, or related field.
• Minimum 14+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience managing multiple projects.
• Strong proposal development, project management, budget management, and client relationship skills.
• Proven leadership experience supervising and developing staff while managing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with regulators, clients, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental projects and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop and manage scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships.
• Lead meetings, presentations, and project kickoffs.
• Monitor performance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance.
• Provide technical oversight and QC of reports and studies.
• Mentor and develop project team members and junior managers.
• Assist with business development and strategic growth.
• Identify risks and coordinate with leadership to resolve issues.
• Foster collaboration and professional excellence across teams.
