Job summary

Luse Contracting Group in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Project Executive for Abatement Services. You will lead environmental projects in the Chicagoland area, from estimating and bidding to contract execution and closeout, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Expect to manage a growing portfolio (approx. $3–5 million annually) and collaborate with field teams to deliver safe, on-time, profitable results while building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in asbestos abatement or environmental contracting.
• Experience estimating and managing a portfolio ($5M+ annually preferred).
• Strong knowledge of abatement methods, containment, waste handling and safety regs.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.
• Excel proficiency; familiarity with estimating software preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• OSHA 30 training and asbestos or lead licenses preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Identify, estimate, and win environmental projects including asbestos, lead, mold, and demolition.
• Develop competitive proposals through site assessments and takeoffs.
• Manage projects from estimate through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, and profitability.
• Coordinate with field leadership on manpower, schedules, containment, equipment and logistics.
• Monitor finances, change orders, and ensure timely billing.
• Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
