Job summary

WSB is seeking a Project Manager to join our environmental team in Minnesota. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering environmental investigation and remediation projects, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and on-time, on-budget execution.

The successful candidate will lead field oversight, manage technical reports and budgets, and provide senior direction on Phase I and Phase II ESAs for large corridor and transportation projects while mentoring staff and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Natural Resources, Soil Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental investigation, remediation, and technical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of environmental investigation and remediation projects from scope development through completion, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to schedule and budget.
• Manage and direct field oversight activities with occasional site visits.
• Oversee preparation and review of technical reports, proposals, budgets, and Response Action Plans for regulatory alignment.
• Provide senior technical direction on ESAs, including Phase I and Phase II for large corridor and transportation projects.
• Support large-scale monitoring programs, limited site investigations, and brownfield redevelopment projects.
• Oversee remedial actions for petroleum, non-petroleum, PFAS, and vapor intrusion mitigation projects.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, partners, and regulatory agencies; maintain strong client relationships.
• Lead and support people management activities, including mentoring and performance management.
• Manage project portfolios and budgets, plan resources, mitigate risks for successful delivery.
• Support business development, including proposal preparation and cost estimating.
