Job summary

WSP USA seeks an Associate Project Manager to join our Federal Environmental Team in the Seattle/Redmond/Tacoma corridor. You’ll support design, development, and implementation of environmental programs for public and private sectors, including field investigations and remediation system projects.

You will generate concise documentation, manage project scope, schedule, and budgets, and coordinate a diverse team. Travel and field work are possible as part of project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-education experience.
• Excellent research skills with analytical mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project teams and lead project status meetings; communicate updates to leadership.
• Help manage scope, schedule, and budget; track progress and risks.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams across disciplines to enable project execution.
• Engage with clients; maintain relationships and support future opportunities.
• Compile environmental data from soil, water, sediment, and other samples.
