Job summary

Veridian Search is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager for its Pittsburgh, PA practice. The role centers on leading environmental assessment, remediation, and regulatory projects while managing key client relationships and guiding multidisciplinary teams.

The opportunity offers autonomy to shape client programs and contribute to the growth of an employee-owned, established consultancy. PE/PG registrations are advantageous for candidates.

Qualifications

• 15+ years within environmental consulting.
• Strong background in environmental assessment and/or remediation.
• Proven project and client management experience.
• Working knowledge of regulatory programmes including RCRA, CERCLA, CWA and Pennsylvania Act 2.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessment, remediation and regulatory projects from scope through delivery.
• Manage significant client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor on complex environmental challenges.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules and multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and expand relationships across industrial, commercial and other private-sector markets.
• Mentor and develop technical staff while helping build the Pittsburgh environmental team.
• Identify new opportunities and contribute directly to the growth of the practice.
