Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager in Florida to lead environmental consulting projects from proposal through closeout. The role requires strong technical leadership, client management, staff development, and financial accountability across multiple projects.

The candidate will serve as the primary client contact, mentor staff, and ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and per company standards. Licensure within three months is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in environmental consulting.
• Excellent project management and consulting skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• Ability to obtain a local license through reciprocity within three months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Directs project planning, staffing, and implementation activities.
• Oversees complex environmental investigations and reviews reports.
• Leads client meetings and communicates milestones and findings.
• Mentors junior staff and supports professional development.
• Manages project budgets, profitability, invoicing, and collections.
• Reviews proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
