Job summary

Verdantas LLC is seeking a Senior Associate to lead Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and related remedial activities. You will mentor the Environmental Assessment and Remediation team, manage client relations, and ensure projects meet regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with the Practice Line Leader and other experts to shape settlements, design field sampling programs, and deliver high-quality environmental solutions. A strong PM background and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or similar Environmental Engineering with relevant professional registration (e.g., CA PE).
• At least 8 years in environmental subsurface investigation, 5+ years in PM, supervision and client interaction.
• Strong understanding of Federal, State, and local environmental regulations.
• Excellent technical writing, oral communication, presentation, and time management.
• Ability to design field sampling, remedial design/implementation, manage multiple subcontractors, and interpret data.
• Proven track record delivering quality services and attracting clients.
• Proactive in liaising with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to safety.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, PEAs, RAWs, RAPs, Remedial Design and Technology.
• Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and schedules for projects.
• Foster strong client and regulatory agency relationships through clear communication.
• Oversee subsurface investigations and remediation projects to meet budgets and timelines.
• Provide expert peer reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Mentor and train team members to promote growth and success.
