Job summary

Earth Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental investigation, remediation, and regulatory compliance projects across West Texas and the Permian Basin.

The role demands direct oil and gas industry experience, strong Texas regulatory knowledge, and the ability to build client relationships, mentor professionals, and deliver cost-effective remediation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of environmental consulting experience, including direct oil and gas industry experience.
• At least 3 years managing environmental remediation projects within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of TCEQ TRRP, RRC remediation programs, PST corrective action, soil and groundwater investigations, and risk-based closure strategies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships.
• Strong technical writing, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental investigations, remediation, and corrective action projects from proposal through regulatory closure.
• Oversee soil and groundwater investigations, vapor intrusion assessments, UST projects, and remediation activities.
• Develop cost-effective remediation strategies and prepare or review technical reports, work plans, and regulatory submittals.
• Manage TRRP deliverables (APARs, RAPs, RACRs) and related documentation.
• Coordinate remediation and site closure with the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) and PST projects.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, profitability, subcontractors, quality, and deliverables.
• Maintain strong relationships with oil and gas clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
• Support business development through proposals and networking; mentor staff.
• Maintain high technical standards and promote Health & Safety culture.
