Timmons Group is seeking an Environmental Project Manager for the Environmental Group in Richmond, VA. The role leads the delivery of technically sound environmental products, coordinating with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance while meeting client expectations on time and on budget.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in environmental consulting, strong project management and communication skills, and the ability to develop proposals, mentor staff, and grow business with current clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Six+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• Current registration as a Professional Soil Scientist, Wetland Professional, or Professional Geologist preferred.
• Ability to manage projects independently and mentor staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee data collection, interpretation, and reporting.
• Prepare environmental documents and coordinate with regulators.
• Develop proposals with time and cost estimates.
• Mentor Environmental Technicians and Scientists I–III.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery and cross-market services.
