Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer in our Environmental Investigation and Remediation group to lead due diligence and remediation projects at contaminated sites. You will scope ESAs, prepare feasibility studies, and design remediation systems while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires civil/chemical/environmental/geological engineering training, PE registration or within 6 months, strong report writing, and proven problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or geological engineering or related engineering field.
• PE registration or ability to be registered within 6 months.
• Ability to read and independently analyze technical reports and regulations pertaining to environmental contamination.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Scope and manage Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) per ASTM standards.
• Scope Phase II ESAs and Remedial Investigations at contaminated sites.
• Manage Brownfield redevelopment remediation and related services.
• Prepare feasibility studies and cost estimates for environmental projects.
• Design remediation systems and soil vapor mitigation systems; prepare O&M plans.
• Coordinate field personnel and subcontractors; travel to project sites.
• Prepare new project proposals with scopes, WBS, and cost estimates.
• Assist senior staff with regulatory matters for clients.
