Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Scientist, Geologist / Project Manager to join its Pittsburgh team. You will manage environmental investigations and remediation projects, deliver technically sound analyses, and prepare proposals and client reports.

The role includes supervising staff, coordinating field activities, and pursuing new work with clients. A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering, LEED AP or PE, 6+ years of experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering; (Master’s degree a plus).
• LEED AP or PE certification.
• 6+ years of related work experience.
• Proficient in environmental due diligence.
• Hazwoper training and annual retraining.
• Regulatory understanding and reporting competence.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Perform complex analyses for portions of engineering and environmental projects.
• Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations of findings.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
• Write and edit proposals, reports, and other documents.
• Identify and pursue new clients and business opportunities.
