Job summary

SET Environmental Inc. is seeking an experienced environmental project manager to lead scope, schedule, and budget across site investigation/characterization, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and permitting initiatives in the Milwaukee area.

The role involves Phase I/II assessments, remedial action project support, site testing coordination, and preparation of technical reports. Travel up to 10% may be required; a PE/PG license and PMP are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Science, or closely related discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with minimum of 2 years project management experience
• P.E. or Geologist licensure is a plus; PMP certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for environmental projects including site investigations, compliance, due diligence, and permitting
• Conduct Phase I/II environmental site assessments
• Assist with remedial action project management for developers, law firms, utilities, and financial institutions
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate site testing and formulate recommendations
• Prepare and review technical documents including reports and regulatory correspondence
• Mentor and train junior staff and provide excellent customer service
• Support business development, cost estimates and proposals
